Coworking spaces in Ikeja and environs

Hub One, a Yaba-based coworking space launched by FCMB in partnership with Passion Incubator.

The first coworking space in Nigeria launched in Yaba, Lagos in 2011. Most of the coworking spaces to come into existence after that time sprang up in Yaba too, perhaps to serve the many entrepreneurs, early-stage startups, etc in what’s now known as Nigeria’s Silicon Valley!

Today, co-working spaces are springing up in several other areas across Lagos. An example is Lagos Island. As of 2017, there were about 16 identifiable coworking spaces on the Island!

Another area in Lagos that has seen a spike in the number of coworking spaces in recent times is Ikeja. With no identifiable coworking space a few years back, the town/city, home to Murtala Mohammed International Airport, where about 5 million people travel through every year, countless shopping malls, multinational companies, the popular Computer Village, and fun spots such as Africa Shrine, now boast 10 or more co-working spaces.

Like their counterparts in Yaba and Lagos Island, these coworking spaces in Ikeja cater to entrepreneurs who need conducive spaces to work from while they build their businesses, and also meet and network with potential customers, investors, partners, etc.

Although we’re in the age where everyone can easily access Google and get results in minutes, locating these coworking spaces in Ikeja might be a bit of challenge. We’ve made a list to ensure this isn’t the case. Check it out below:
